UCLA/EIMG Health Clinics (The Industry Health Network) Benefits Overview

If you are in the Los Angeles area, you may also enjoy access to five health centers, operated by UCLA Health and the Entertainment Industry Medical Group (EIMG). These clinics provide health services exclusively to the entertainment industry community.

Regardless of which center you visit, you will receive quality care from a dedicated team of physicians, nurses, and practitioners.

Flexibility Geared Towards Entertainment Industry Professionals

With evening, Saturday, Sunday, and even holiday hours available, there is a health center that can accommodate even the busiest schedule. The UCLA/EIMG Health Centers will always attempt to schedule your appointment for the earliest time available.

Utilizing UCLA/EIMG Health Centers Saves You Money

Obtaining a referral for a network specialist, pediatrician and/or hospital can significantly reduce out-of-pocket expenses for covered services. When you use a UCLA/EIMG Health Center and primary care physician, you have a fixed co-pay of $10.

In addition, when your physician refers you to a specialist, you have the same co-pay (for hospitalization you will pay the regular 10% co-insurance). Furthermore, when you use a UCLA/EIMG physician and referred specialist, your deductible is not applied to those visits. However, it is important to ensure the referral is valid by reviewing it in its entirety to ensure there are not restrictions and/or additional out-of-pocket expenses that may apply. Free Comprehensive Physical Exam

One of the important benefits offered to DGA-Producer Health Plan members through the UCLA/EIMG Health Centers is a free comprehensive physical exam. Eligible participants and dependents receive a free physical from a UCLA/EIMG Health Center physician with no applicable deductible or co-payment.

The following services are provided during the exam:

• Full medical evaluation;
• Update covered vaccinations, if needed;
• Measure weight;
• Blood pressure evaluation;
• Lipid profile and glucose levels testing;
• Women may receive a bone density screening, mammogram, or pap test (dependent on age or necessity); and
• Men may receive a prostate exam or PSA test (dependent on age or necessity).

Eligible participants and dependents may receive this free physical exam:

• once each calendar year when age 41 and over; or
• once every two calendar years when between the ages of 19 and 40.
