Health Fair This Fall in NYC

The DGA-Producer Pension & Health Plans will be hosting its annual health fair and free flu shot clinic exclusively for DGA members (regardless of Health Plan coverage status) and their families in New York City this fall. Reservations are recommended for all flu shots and can be made below.

IMPORTANT DETAILS – PLEASE READ

Flu Shot Types and Restrictions

  • Flu shots are free to all DGA members and dependents ages 13 and older, regardless of Health Plan coverage status.
  • The DGA Foundation has generously supported these annual events and will continue to cover the cost of the flu shots for members not covered under the Health Plan.
  • A separate flu shot reservation is required for each person in your party. Reservations can be made online by clicking the button above. For assistance with making the reservation, contact the Plans office at (323) 866-2216 or flushots@dgaplans.org.
  • Standard and high-dose flu shots are available. This year, all flu shots are preservative-free and, according to the CDC, are safe for patients who are pregnant or nursing. Patients with an egg allergy, however, should consult their doctor about getting their flu shot.

Booking Your Appointment

  1. To reserve a flu shot appointment, please complete the requested information, including your appointment time, and click Submit. Only one appointment can be booked at a time for each person in the family.
  2. After you submit your appointment request, a confirmation email will be sent from healthfair@dgaplans.org to the email address you provided. If you do not receive your confirmation email, be sure to check your spam folder.

Canceling/Rescheduling Your Appointment

  • To reschedule or cancel your appointment, or for questions about your appointment or the health fair, email flushots@dgaplans.org or call (323) 866-2216.

What to Expect When You Arrive For Your Appointment

  • Upon arrival at your appointed time, follow the signs to the Flu Shot Clinic sign-in area. NOTE: If you are receiving the flu shot for the first time, expect to stay for 15 minutes following your shot to ensure there are no adverse reactions.
  • If you are experiencing a fever or flu-like symptoms on the day of your appointment, please do not attend the Flu Shot Clinic. You should cancel your appointment and consult your medical provider.

myPHP Information Booth

  • Learn about the myPHP benefits portal, where participants in the Pension and Health Plans can access their personal benefits information—including Health Plan eligibility, medical claims, employer contributions, estimated pension benefit accruals, vesting status, pension statements, view your current beneficiaries, and more—wherever you have internet access!
  • Participants who subscribe to myPHP for the first time and go paperless and current myPHP subscribers who go paperless at the Health Fair’s myPHP information booth will be entered into a raffle drawing for an Apple HomePod smart speaker.
